Antonio Siciliano

Antonio is a master of social work (MSW) student at the University of Michigan School of Social Work set to graduate December 2019.  His practice area is in interpersonal practice with a concentration in mental health.  Currently, Antonio is an MSW intern with Michigan Medicine Psychiatry, but loves to stay involved in macro-leveled research.  His love for cultural navigation and middle eastern culture and language has inspired his clinical philosophy. “I believe that as a practitioner it is important to remain involved in macro work on some level as it informs our clinical work with patients, clients, and their families.”
Antonio works as a graduate student research assistant on the Missing Migrants of the Mediterranean project.  He traveled to Tunisia in August, 2019 to conduct interviews with the families of migrants lost in the Mediterranean.  His fieldwork will be on display in both the physical and online exhibits for the project.
