Suzana Haidar

Suzana is a Master of Social Work candidate at the University of Michigan’s School of Social Work, and will graduate in May of 2021. Her practice area is in Interpersonal Practice with a concentration in Children and Youth. She is currently an intern at the Washtenaw Child Advocacy Center. Suzana is a graduate student research assistant that is working on the Missing Migrants of the Mediterranean project. She is excited to perform refugee work globally, as her previous work experience has enabled her to work with immigrant children and adolescents. Suzana’s Arabian heritage inspires her work in research, and she hopes to be able to provide Middle Eastern refugees with therapy in the future.
