Juan Ricardo Muñoz-Ponce
Juan Ricardo Muñoz-Ponce is a junior at the college of architecture at the University of Michigan. He migrated from Mexico to the U.S. at the age of four. During his time at U of M, he has been an active advocate for immigrant rights in the state of Michigan. Juan currently conducts research pertaining to refugee communities having equitable access to education and housing in Michigan. Moreover, he also works for the National Forum for Higher Education researching state policies on post-secondary education that impact undocumented students in the U.S.
