Leila Asadi
Leila Asadi is a Ph.D. candidate at Arizona State University and is interested in feminist critiques of legal system and justice. Her research focuses on the very ethical and material existence of the international regime of refugee protection in which she incorporates feminist ethics to critique the formal human rights language and its effects on Syrian refugee women’s lives. Asadi has conducted her research in Michigan, and in two past years, she has been collaborating with Refugees in Town project at Tufts University and Just Futures running by the University of Michigan.
